Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |
|
I picked up one in my rambling for free. Works fine and is quite nicely sized. Has what looks like either a fuse or something to blow in case of a real jolt, plus a lighted switch.I know, I know, switches and lights aren't good for audio. But this thing doesn't sound bad at all in my system hooked up to analogue stuff. It's almost as good as my DIY non-filtered simple outlet strip; only distinction not burned in is that my DIY seems slightly better on bass punch.
This thing also says it has all 4 outlets isolated from each other. One duplex says Isolated 1 and the outlet below says 50db; the other says Isolated 2 and the one below say 75db. Any ideas on what the decibel ratings mean here?
