I hate someone breathing down my neck on an hourly basis. The last thing one man shops need are the lookie-loos, tire-kickers, freebie-cap-advice seekers, on top of the "When will you be done?" calls. There's also the possibility of an unfortunate incident in either the business or personal realm.I'm happy you had fine experiences!
