I'm considering buying a VPI turntable (either Aries 2 or Scoutmaster). VPI offers an SDS (Synchronous Drive System) which they claim synthesizes the AC into pure DC power. Would plugging this turntable into my PS 300 serve the same purpose, and save a pile of $ in the process?
