Your math is wrong. Capacitor in crossover will not shift phase by 90 degrees, not even close to that.
Go measure and see it for yourself.
Drivers are out of phase only for a reason to give impression of being different than other speaker that is in-phase.
You cannot shift signal by more than 180 degrees using passive components, and still have usable signal. Actually you cannot shift more than 90.
Go measure if you do not believe me.
