Hello,
I bought some in line RCA buit in attenuator (10dB). I believe it's is just a classical voltage divider with a reistor in series and then a shunt resistor. It has to be connected on my power amp (according to the instruction).
But it works better while connected to the preamp. In this case I believe I have the shunt resistor first and then the series resistor...It is attenuating less but sounds better to my ears..How can I explain that ?My power amp is a Quad 606.
Thanks
Olivier
