I have a PASSIVE Visonik subwoofer with a crossover and pass through for sat speakers. I want to use it as a stand alone sub. When I remove the sat speakers it does not seem to work. Could I short the sat outs with 8ohm caps and make it work or any other suggestions? I don't have the diagrams so I can only guess how it works.
Normal opperation is the power for two channels is fed to the crossover and then passes to two channels of Satellites. It works with any satellites and I am surpirsed that it is "smart" enough to notice they are missing. I assumed all the power would just go to the sub when they were not attached.
