This question is for a friend of mine that want to attenuate the input to his Adcom GFA-555 power amps. I have seen some post/links that show shunt attenuators and series pots in interconnects. He is using a actice preamp Adcom GFP-565 preamp. What would be the best/safest way to do this? Would doing either of these make the power amp unstable or raise DC Offset on the power amp? Any info would be greatly appreciated.Thank You
Steve.
