Since the source of the hum is from your AC mains try installing a 'clam-shell' ferrite bead inside the Krell's enclosure as close to the rectifiers as possible and another just ahead of the power tfmr. inside the enlosure. If this doesn't eliminate the hum refer to Jon Risch's Balanced AC tfmr., which will eliminate all common mode interference.Happy Listening !
