Before the satellite I had cable tv, which they disconnected except for one line that runs strait to my cable modem for my computer and
I'm pretty sure the cable modem and the Satellite share the same grounding rod. I installed the Ground isolator that I had from
MCM and it eliminated the hum, but I noticed my signal strength dropped from 120 to 74, which caused the loss of many channels.
I'm wondering if I put a satellite signal booster of say 16db gain
If then My Satellite isolator would work
