Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

I just bought an old HK770 amplifier. It has 8 50V, 4700 uF ELNA capacitors on the PSU board. They look solid and in great shape.1. Should I replace them with new Panasonic capcitors? Will I hear any differences?
2. Should I replace them with 105C or 85C capacitors? Does service temperature make any difference in sound?
3. Will I be better off to replace just the rectifiers with those HyperFast FRED?
