I really doubt you would hear a difference

Yes, some types of rectifiers/diodes are better on "paper". But that doesn't mean you will hear a difference in your amp. And in any case there are other parts inside your amp that have a much greater impact on sound quality. But the sad fact is most folks never target them because they lack the knowledge and tools. For example better quality closely matched transistors will do a whole lot more for you but it's the last thing most tweakers look at.

If it were me I'd keep the stock bridge rectifier and at most add a snubber network to it. I'd be more inclined to upgrade the filter caps. Perhaps replace a few key resistors and caps. Consider better RCA jacks and internal wiring. Maybe a better power cord. But really the key is obtaining a schematic and gaining enough knowledge to understand the circuit and how it operates. Then and only then can you judge which part changes are going to pay the biggest dividends.

Time and again I see folks here spend more money on tweaks than what it would have cost them to purchase a better amp up front. I'd hate to see you do that. But I also understand that it is part of the learning curve.

The TNT audio website used to have a really good article on power supply design for solid state amps. You might wish to read it before you purchase any parts.
