Wellll.. if it isn't to yr liking by now it ain't gonna happen.
Suggest you find some Cheap Solens in a range of Values and try subbing them into the circuit... experiment, then experiment some more.
Different Values can make all the difference in Bass.. But who knows what else you've done to the pore thing.. so yer at a "Cut 'n Try" stage.. But at least the Solens only need about an Hour's break-in.. IF even that:-)
