I was playing hand drums along with some music when I discovered that I could use the drums to find the reflections. Using this portable tympanum I found that the side reflections were minor but I need more padding under the rug.
With my ear close to the drum head I could also get a rough idea for what frequency range was being reflected. I've been moving things around to reduce strong reflections to the sweet spot.
Has anybody else discovered found objects that helped to tweak their systems?
