I have a Marantz 1060 integrated amp which has a 2-conductor power cord, and would like to replace the cord with a 3-conductor, heavier guage cord. Can I do this, connecting the ground wire to the chassis, or am I gonna short the thing out? I have the schematic, but I really don't know enough about circuits to know if can do this. Any help would be appreciated!
