I havn't heard BGs, but I upgraded my CDP with Cerafines (coupling, PS, caps feeding the DAC and Op Amps) and got a major improvement in clarity and soundstage. I got them from Ron Welborne, who says that the Cerafines offer at least 90% of BG performance for a lot less money. AND, of course, they don't take forever to break in.
