Thanks for the tip. While none of the diodes specifically measures bad, I figure that there must be enough reverse current through one that's causing the hum problem.As for adding the resistor, do you put it before the AC splits and feeds the caps on both sides of the doubler, or do you place a resistor on each side of the doubler between the cap and the diodes?
