The Mapleshade Ultimate Triplepoint or Penultimate Triplepoint addresses the stability problem. It is a cone with 3 smaller cone-points on the top side of the cone. I think this would offer a better conduit in draining the vibration from the chassis to the plinth. Although neoprene is a fairly hard "rubber", it still isn't really rigid.
