Hook cable (Chassis cable) choice- Can you advise me ?

Hi everybody. I am building a welborne preamp and not sure the cable will be enough for my chassis construction therefore would like to do 2 things:
1 - secure the proper lenght
2 - improve the provided one
The cables category is as follows:
18ga solid core
24ga stranded
20ga solid
Which type of top notch cabling do you advise me ? Shall i mantain the different gauge of just one size cable ?
