I am looking to upgrade the caps in the crossovers in my speakers. The high frequency xover has a Solen Cap 5.6uF +/-5% 400VDC
It's worth about $3.00 at PartsExpress.
Is there a better cap (for more $$$) than this? The mid/low xover has a dark orange cap with the following markings:
106J 100V MPE
There does not appear to be a brand identifier on it.
I think the 106J means 10uF +/-5%
Who would make a cap that would replace this? Thanks!
