If all you have is the front corners, then floor to ceiling is definitely going to be required. Depending on what wire fence you get to make them, you cauld end up with two 3 foot tall units stacked on top opf one another, or two slightly less than 4 foot tall units. If the fencing is 48" tall, then you will have to cut both or one to allow them to fit in a typical 8 foot high room. Measure carefully, and remember to allow for the endcap thicknesses. Better to make them a few inches too short than too tall !16" diameter traps will soak up a lot of bass, I would not attempt 20" versions the first ime around.
If you can possibly place any a tthe half way points, then you couls always build some 20" later, and use the others fot eh half way points alomng the side walls or for the front wall and back wall.
