Sledgehammer laminated Iron core [ f < 80hz ]
Solen perfect-lay   [ 80Hz < f < 500Hz ]
Goertz CFAC    [ 500Hz < f ]

for capacitors, I use ...


Hovland  for fast drivers
Solen  for slow drivers
Dayton non-L for a bypass cap
