Just if the cord rattles, and of course, the usual safety issues that should be OK if good wiring practice is used. You may wnat a local fuse for this one to minimize the potential for current flow through the lamp cord, which is passing by some polyester batting inside the tube (don't build them without the batting!)Jon Risch
