Need to replace the 5/16" threaded rods in my rack to change the shelf heights. Browsing online I noticed there are many choices of material in threaded rods: low carbon steel, brass, aluminum, etc... Any ideas on which is the best at absorbing the shocks? Thanks to all in advance.
