Excellent David!
I have one at the office as well.
Some more facts:
The Aeron Chair won "Best of Category" in Furniture from Internation Design Magazine.
It's included in the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
The woven material is called Pellicle, which was specially developed for the chair. Pellicle is a stretchable mesh-like material that lets air through preventing heat buildup, conforms to the body and distributes weight equally to the seat and back.
This chair provides adjustable height, armrest, hip pivot, vertical and horizontal lumbar support, tilt, all allowing natural movement while pivoting at the ankles, knees and hips.
It seems complicated but it's very user friendly. The chair was designed for Herman Miller by Don Chadwick Assoicates. A good friend of mine and former classmate now works for them.
Happy listening!
JP.S. CD changer now is mandatory to enjoy the music and the chair...
