What you propose may be of limited benefit. True the ACE515 is rated at 15 amps, but the unit is primarily intended for audio loads. All 15 amp loads are not created equal. A refrigerator compressor (like that in an air conditioner) is a punishing electrical load. The startup current draw of the average refrigerator can exceed 15 amps for an extended period on every occasion. At the very least, I see the possibility of the relay(s) in the Adcom conditioner becoming fried over time. I once owned an ACE-515. If I remember correctly, in the owner's manual, Adcom warned against plugging hair dryers and other such high-current-draw devices into the unit.
