I am in the process on making up some interconnects using belden 2464 which is a twisted pair with foil wrap and earth drain computer grade low loss signal cable.
My problem is I wish to connect this cable up in a pseduo balanced configuration, with the drain connected a one end like a faraday shield effect thus making the cable directional.
But at which end should the drain be connected at the amp end or cd end? many tanks
