I really don't have anything to add to what others have said, but I'm just wondering what exactly you're trying to save? There are plenty of high-value speaker kits to build from the ground up that have been carefully engineered to sound great, and lots of high value brands like Paradigm, NHT etc that are good bang for the buck. I've heard BW and they're great but I just dunno how much of the magic you're trying to recapture will be left. I mean, new drivers, new crossover, and new front baffle to your cabinet? These things will produce a totally new sound, not necessarily bad, and quite possibly good (those are nice drivers you've got) but I mean, what are you keeping in the end of the original B&W? A bit of the box.......
Good Luck,
