Michael, I'm currently running a fan from a computer power supply, and using a variable DC power supply. It runs quiet at 4.5 volts (its a 12 volt fan)and moves enough air to keep my amplifier happy. Fairly cheap setup, as I'm a PC repair tech. Otherwise I'm sure it won't add up to more than $25 at Rat Shack. It just sits on top of the vents, I added small rubber half-sphere feet to deaden any fan vibrations the amp might pick up. Hope his helps.
