Wheel, first get our names right. It's JOHN CURL and JON RISCH. Second, I don't design loudspeakers anymore, so I recommend that you ask BRIAN CHENEY, who is often at this website for his opinion. There are other ways to damp a loudspeaker, and a good loudspeaker is often 'overdamped' by the strong magnetic structure that controls it.
