I plan on using either STP CAT 5, or some other type of shielded cable. Does the gauge of the ground still matter even though I'm not using the cable for electrical wiring, only a power cord?
Should I remove the steel jacket and add a copper braid, or should I just add a copper braid to the steel Jacket?
Where can I buy a copper braid, especially one big enough to fit over this monster?
