Hola. I imagine that the lawn tractors innertubes should support more weight than the bicycle ones, althought they hold pretty much weight either(bicycle frame + runner). The thing is that Bob S. wants to move his rack full of gear around to deal with the cables and I believe it is a bit risky to use innertubes for this purpose.Once turnning they should present a balancing and leveling problem. There should be a better way to do it. I remember seen a company who makes racks that turn around in a 180*. I don't like much the idea though because the cables have to be longer to give space to turn around, unless they have a better way to do it(they have nothing explanatoty to this respect).Maybe a system like a Daisy Susan(used on kitchen and other type of gabinetry)which have a rotatory system could solve the problem.
How to apply it to a rack??? Good question, but with a lot of imagination, a DIY mentality and some help around may solve the dilemma.
