The answer is, you will have to try it and see. Most planars do not tend to excite the room quite as much as direct radiator cones, so it is possible that with the use of the absorbers on the front wall, and the side walls, that there will not be a need for corner traps as well.5 feet shoudl do it, but place it on a small stand. or build in legs to center it on the panel, or at least get the bottom flush with the bottom of the bass panel.
