Need schematic and advice for Knight KN724, pse

63.80.255.2

I recently found a Knight KN724 stereo amp in my neighbor's trash(!) I did a little bit of work (replaced a bad bias resistor and replaced the old coupling caps with orange drops) and put in a set of NOS Siemens 6BQ5's and the amp sounds pretty good (compared to the junk I've been listening to forever). The other tubes tested out OK. I'm thinking about doing some further mods, in particular removing the tone controls, and would like to save the hassle of reverse engineering. Anybody know where I can get a schematic, or have any further insight on ways to upgrade this amp? I am new to hi-fi, but not tubes or electronics (ham radio operator). Is this a good candidate for 1% metal film resistors and silver wire? Thanks,
Duane H
