I believe I read previously that combining crimping and soldering is not good. Most of the internal wiring inside an Adcom 555II amplifier is quick connect crimp connections. Would soldering these connections with silver solder be beneficial? If so, should all the crimp connections be removed, cleaned, reinserted and then soldered or just soldered in place as is? What sonic benefits would the soldering achieve? Thanks!
