I'm getting fed up of spending every damn night prior to building redrawing the chassis and the layout of everything from rca plugs, powercord, volumecontrol, etc. Not to mention the insides, like where the tranny and caps go and the signal section etc.
I've burned myself enuff times from doing layout on the go as I finish various components of amps and pres, every time I end up changing things around and the chassis always turns out too small.
So to my question: Anyone know of a simple 2D CAD program that is downloadable for simple design of chassis and layout? This way I can draw the various components and drag them around till I get a good layout, and not have to start over on a new paper and spend hours drawing the same components over and over.
