how to remove green paint on ceedees?

hi all,
i have some of my cds marked green. this was done using a uniposca marker. i would like to remove this. as the paint is water based, the markings would not be permanent. however, as anyone tried removing the paint without doing any damage however slight to the cd? tia.

ps: if you have to know, im removing the green stuff so that i can put on the auric illuminator treatment in its place.
