Anybody know if I can use this...

12.79.68.227

for my audio system?

It's called an "Isobar Noise Filter & Surge Supressor(GS) Model # IB-4". It's made by a company called "Tripp Lite" and has a toatl of 4 outlets referred to as Isolated Filter Banks "1" and "2". Each 'Bank" is two outlets vertically stacked as such:

X
X
(50db)

X
X
(75db)

One bank being the First Level with 50db in parenthesis under them, and the Second Level has 75db in parenthesis under them. It also says "Isolated protection @ 1.0 Mhz" on it, and there is a "Fuse Reset" button located on the side of the box.

It is all metal, has a pretty hefty power cord, and is set up in Box Form

On the back it says:

Transient Voltage Surge Supressor
Input: 120 V 50/60 Hz. Max Load: 15A
Individual and Total Receptacles

330 L-N; 330 L-G; 400 N-G UL Listed 58M7

I scored it at work, where I beleive it was being used for computers on a Local Network.

Any info about this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Inmates,
Chuckster
