Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |
|
Has anyone ever found the compulsion to optomize the tweak or upgarde, out of control, such that you were completely distanced from the music ? What did you do when that happened? For example, in using Symposium Audio issolation platforms as shelves in my stand, I found that the position of their couplers and/or roller-blocks could radically alter the sound of my Spectral gear. Even minute variation produced audible differences. While I always heard differences, I am not able to say which is better or which I like more. I end up continually thinking about the differences and not the music.
I am seriously thinking of just using the equipment with the feet it came with.
Fellow inmates, how have you proken the obsession and returned to the music?
