I'm pretty sure I have a ground loop hum problem on my audio only system. It appears to occur between the CD and the integrated amp. I have an old CD player that has no ground (built that way!!), and when I substitute it for my new player the hum goes away. Hum is volume control related so likely the problem is in the upstream CD.What I've read suggests that a stereo ground loop isolator will help if placed in the signal path of the interconnects.
Does this sound right? If so could you please recommend a high quality, but not overly expensive isolator? Is the Jensen any good?
Many thanks, Bob
