The stock power cord that came with my Sim Audio I-5 integrated amp looks like an ordinary computer power cord, yet I have heard that if one was to use a cord "made" for computer use, the unit would not sound as "good". So are all generic power cords made the same, or are the "audiophile" stock cords better? Also, does shielding matter? I ask that because I have found two computer power cords, one is shielded, and the other doesn't say, so I'm assuming it's not...both are 18 gauge by the way. Just curious.
