To find the centre of a circle, take a compass (or piece of wood with a nail for the centre and holes for a pencil at certain radii), put the point on the edge of the circle and draw the arc across the circle.
Now put the compass on a different point on the circle and do the same.
Where the lines cross is the centre of the circle.
