I built this 12" sub from the diy projects in the internet and I'm pretty happy with it.My problem is that I can hear mids coming from the subwoofer. I'm currently using the sub-out from my processor(Sony -SDP-9ES) and I think the crossover is 100 hz. I'm using Marantz 700 monoblock to power the NHT. I'm not a electronic wiz, so I'm planning to buy the crossover.....passive or active? any recomendation ?
