I have read from some cable experts (sorry I can't remember who) that silver coatings on copper a) cause burning of the copper/silver interface with nasty oxides and b) tend to separate over time.I would be very interested to hear current opinions on either side of this view, but the tonal balance situation with silver/copper vs. pure copper does tend to the "silver = bright".
I would suggest that you stick with copper unless your budget and system can embrace pure silver.
