Some engineers recommend only caps across the hot and neutral for digital components, so that any digital noise will not locally contaminate the AC ground point. Used in conjunction with local ferrite beads and chokes on the outside of the cords/interconnects, these are the things to try.For general info on AC Filters, component quality issues, etc, see:
