I have one unused outlet left on my PP300 and need to plug in 4 more components (lol). Power consumption will still be well in the PP's range, so that's no concern. PSA no longer offers the "power link" (or whatever it was called) so I have to build one myself. I was thinking of using 3 hubbel or leviton outlets. That’s all I'm sure of now. What’s the best way to wire all 3 together to a hard-wired power cord? What type of box should I use? I would like to separate the 3rd outlet for just a digital component and the other 2 outlets for analog equipment. Do I have to use a transformer? I do not want any type of filtering on the device since it will be plugged into the power plant. Any other ideas will be greatly welcomed.Once that is built it will connected to a ~30' DIY power cord. I'm thinking of using 2 runs of straighwire 0 gauge (it will be a 30' cord remember. I want as little power loss as possible) car audio power cable twisted together for the + and - polarities then wrap it in some foil tape like aluminum for even more shielding and connecting it to ground. Then use a 3rd run for the ground cable. Then use the best 3-prong connector I can find and hard wired to the "distributor". Any ideas?
Keep in mind all parts need to be easily accessible from places like Home Depot or Radio Shack.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
