If this were true, over-rated transformers/PS capacitors, PS Audio Power Plants, King Cobra Powercords, Quantum Symphony conditioners, the Tice TPT treatment and Richard Gray Power Companies etc. would be redundant. In such a universe, high-end amplifier manufacturers would source the cheapest transformers necessary to provide the required voltage, and the CJ Art Pre-amp would be powered by a wall wart.
What a wonderful world that would be!
