Carefull here. When connecting to a power line, only parts designed for such duty should be used. That rules out the polyprop parts. Some caps will flame out if failing when connected to AC line.
Special parts designed for that ARE available, but would not be your "audiophile" parts.
But then, of course, it is *your* home.
