did you ever replaced a radial by an axial cap on a board?
there is not always enough room, and it seems to me that the axial
couldn't be so solidly soldered to the board, especially if
it doesn't have solid leadsyes, bottom side seems easier, yet not sure about space
availability, even for small axials! i'll manage anyway...no, i didn't bypass my preamp (i love it, especialy after
my silver rewiring and my amperex 7308)
