Hola Tyro. As the rational Erational said, search the archives. This question has been asked before and there is some information and experiences shared referenced to the height of the DIY Room Lenses. One thing you have to consider, the original RL comes in the same lenght and they don't offer any information about changing their original height related to ceiling height. To my best knowledge, they just come in one size , 58".You could experiment using different measures but once you cut the PVC (asuming you use 10' pipes) you loose the 2x1 option (10'/2)and double the tube cost(9 instead of 4 1/2).
