Dave,I understand what you mean. But this resistor is indeed in series with the inverting input. And the OpAmp is classical voltage feedback.
I have seen this in the past in DIY designs of active crossovers and also of pre-amplifiers.
I am planning an active crossover design for my bi-amped system and wanted to check if this was a relevant issue.
